Dr. Tiffany D. Tyson was born and raised in North Carolina. Her mother and grandparents instilled in her excellent moral values and positive self-esteem at a very young age. They always wanted her to succeed in life and knew the key to success was an excellent education. Dr. Tyson completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Barton College.  Her Master of Science in Nursing degree (MSN) at Duke University and her Clinical Doctorate (DNP) in mental health at Robert Morris University. While completing her doctorate, she learned the importance of empowering individuals with self-identity.

Because of her multi-ethnic background, issues concerning cultural diversity and norms were topics close to her heart. As a result, she created novels that would inspire individuals from all walks of life and cultures by portraying characters of all nationalities and backgrounds within her books. She wants to tell a story and motivate others to achieve their dreams regardless of where they live or their appearance.

 As a former college professor, Dr. Tyson worked with the drama and mass communications department at UNC Pembroke to enhance student learning in medical simulation classes with live actors, written scripts, and real-life scenarios. She also wrote, edited, and directed public service announcements related to mental health, teen dating violence for the campus, and a local television show. Dr. Tyson knows the importance of providing interactive and thought-provoking presentations to enhance learning. She uses her medical background and her knowledge of science and technology and visual creatives, and video production to create events and content that are innovative, empowering, and enriched with a refreshing openness. 

 Dr. Tyson strongly believes, "You shouldn't change yourself to try to fit in but be a game-changer in life."
